
From the Army Foundation College (Harrogate) 2 Channel swim crossings were attempted. Steve Wall and Amy Baker attempted the world's most premiere extreme endurance challenge, swimming the English Channel, with Amy Baker completing the swim in 18 hours 35 minutes and Steve Wall completing 9 hours before succumbing to illness.
The following team completed a team relay crossing; Matt Higgins, Emily Peers, Kerry Evans, Steve Hunt, Lee 'Tom' Sawyer and Sue Klopper in 13 hours and 55 minutes.
